is necessary since BSL was introduced in France). |

First Choice |
The dog has
to go through the TAN (character test) and needs an excellent grading
at a Regional or National Breed Show or at a “Special”
CACIB. |

Excellent |
The dog has
to be confirmed with an excellent grading, and needs an excellent
grading in the Youth Class at a National Breed Show. |
4 |
Recommended |
Confirmed “excellent”
TAN tested, and graded as excellent in the Open Class at a Special,
Regional Club Breed Show or Championship Show. |

Elite “B” |
The dam or sire
has to have 4 “recommended’s” (4 points) in the
puppies produced to date. |
6 |
Elite “A” |
The dam or sire
has to be a “recommended” (4 points). |
Note:
Compared to other breeds, the SBT does not yet need PHPV/HC and HD tests
to be “recommanded” or “elite”.
